What is a multilingual website?

A multilingual website is a website that provides content in different language. It helps an organization to extend their market, increase customer engagement, stay ahead on their competitors and boast their SEO.

The HubSpot Multilingual feature

For website pages and landing pages HubSpot has a build-in system, where you can create a primary master page linked to x translated versions of that page. If you go the the overview you will see left of the title a globe icon, this indicates that the page was translated, clicking the arrow you will see all the linked translated pages.

The system automatically adds the language code in the beginning of the slug with or without country specification. You can choose plain english /en/ or English (UK) /en-gb/ . The HubSpot system is performant.

The HubSpot system does not help you in "translating" your header and your footer in HubSpot you need for every language a new template.

Creating this is a challenge having different menu, different logo, and different text that will result in having a lot of templates  which will be difficult to manage.

We at leadstreet, created a multilingual language pack to solve this problem.

Multilingual Language Pack?

This pack allows you to create global module, a multilingual header and footer that changes based on the same language slug HubSpot is using. The pack consists of different modules each with their specific behaviour changing an element based on a language slug.

In the pack you will find different modules that you can combine in a header global group.

Below are the list of modules we offer to make a site multilingual:
